Sneek Peek at some of the new products.

We are bringing quite a few collections in from Creative Imaginations.  We went the extra mile and are bringing in their newly acquired Luminarte Products. So look for Laura to do a couple of class in these pretty cool products.  Then they even have Mudd Puddles now.  Let me tell you this was so amazing that I think that it will definitely take your cards and pages to the next level.  Here is just a peek of some of the 12 new colors of theirs. Laura has some great Stencils classes in mine with this product. The 3-D texture of this colored sand that is moldable is just wonderful.

We are bringing in some pretty cool flowers called color me crazy from Petaloo.  They are white but let me just tell you they can be chalked, inked stamped on, any possibility out there.  They has some that were stamped then spray with some shimmer. Just opens up the range of thing that can be done.  You will have the perfect match flower just for you that you created.

Then we have Tim Holtz.  He has it all now stamps, distress inks and tools and even scissors but not he step up his game and added dies and a machine and even paper pads, yes I said Paper Pads. Then he has came up with tell all know how book that is going to be a must have. It is call Compendium of Curiosities. So here is a sneek for you on some items. Then he has some must have adornments.

With all the new products that will be rolling in within the next few months I guess that everyone will have to just keep checking back with Scrap Tales to see what has arrived now.  Wow we are going to feel like it is Christmas again.  I just love this time of year.

Garage Sale

Today was the first day of the Garage Sale and it was a great success, because of all the wonderful customers we have.  But don't worry you still have one day left of this great sale.  Even if Garage sales are not your thing then we also have put the entire store at 30% off, excluding the Tim Holtz new stuff and Copic Markers. But everything else in the store is fair game.  We have to make room for all the new products coming in within the next 3 months.  So if you are a part of that garage sale and are doing good in sales then you picked a perfect time to save your stuff and sell it so you can have the money for the products coming in.

So if you have any time Sunday to just stop by and see what we have then this is a perfect time to also save money while getting great deals. I hope that Linda or someone was able to take some pictures to share with the rest of us on how great it was this morning at 10 am.  What I heard is that there was a line to get in again.

Coming Home

Well we are getting ready to leave for the airport and come home to the cold grey Michigan.  So keep posted for some new items and pictures that will be posted soon.  We have Stampers Anonymous will be in the store, because they have called and said it shipped.  So be ready, NEW will be coming in soon.

New and Exciting

Yes we have brought in ALL Basic Grey Paper and some of their embellishments, as well as Graphic 45, and LYB. We passed this year on American crafts collections, but brought you some great new items from Queen and Co.. Just know that this is the year of BLING.

Speaking of bling everyone has bling.  Silhouette has come out with some new vinyl colors and heat transfers, that you will just love. They even have Rhinestone kits too.  These will be the new hit.  Make your own T-Shirts embellishments, and just simply iron it on.

Tim Holtz new machine

This machine is a the best representation of Tim Holtz, it is a little vintage with a flair of distress and wrapped all up in a cute portable suitcase.  This machine is very lite weight and easily portable and the cord even stows away.    So here are a few of his pictures from his website just to give you a feel of this great new machine.  This is not the finished product it will have some distressing done and some vintage postcards around the suitcase and I am sure it will definitely have his name all over it.

CHA Recap

When we arrived on Wednesday Janurary 20th it was definitely not SUNNY California.  We went to Craftmania where a series of vendors presented the new paper collections and embellishments.  Just to say a few we did see My Mind's Eye's, Fancy Pants and even pink Paislee's new collections and they are super cute, and will be a be hit with all of you.  OMG Bo Bunny has 6 new Collections and they are great. Just to give you a little excitement we are getting EVERYTHING!  I know you have been waiting for this but right now Margie from Advantus is presenting her new line and guess who I just spoke to?????  I told Tim that all the people from Scrap Tales in Brighton, MI said hello and asked him when is he coming to visit.  The time you have been waiting for it is TIM HOLTZ hour. I have Laura and her camera ready and she will have some great pictures for you tonite. Right now Tim is showing us his ideology line and he is releasing new grunge board in a size 6 x 12 and he is keeping just non embossed grunge. We had to ask is there just a box that says order all. Still no answer. With all the feedsback that everyone has sent us via email or even through Linda has been a wonderful help to us.

OK fellow scrap tales followers Start saving because once we get all the Tim Holtz stuff in let me just say get in quick because quanities are definitely limited and you might just want to let Linda know you want it all. All of the stuff is more then words can say. Tims new book is a must have!!!!ok just got the official word. The dies will be in our store within 2 to 3 weeks. We are getting a limmited amount originally so get that special order to Linda because we don't know how long it will take to get the second wave in from sizzix. Once you see them and play with them you will want them ALL. I will tell you... I wasn't sure about them and now I want them too. But you will definitely get them before me. So maybe I can just borrow them during scrapbook league.Creative Imagination new collections are amazing, don't have pictures yet but will be getting on Sunday so after the show I will be putting some of those up for you. The wood paper is going to be a great addition to the store. You can emboss, distress and even cut in the die cut machines, and it comes in 3 different finishes.

Just another thought or question what are you takes on doing art on canvas. We have seen some pretty cool projects done with this technique and I see a place for everyone to expand and open the horizons. Don't forget to check out the new pictures and leave me some comments on what you think on what you see so far.

In between all that and then the show, we were able to take some classes.  Which we learned a lot. But by far our favorite class was the do you distress class.  He is a wonderful teacher, and any person would be grateful to have him at their store.

We are finally done and then we head home tomorrow, hopefully we will be able to catch up on our sleep and ge rested for when the product comes in....

Look forward to seeing all the new products come in so as far as a having a favorit i really cant say..
