PJ Crop follow-up

Thanks to everyone who helped make our PJ Crop so much fun - there were some
crazy slippers and PJ's on those bodies! We enjoyed a wonderful turnout of scrappers - especially
the Sample clan who had eight family members there! The croppers enjoyed some exciting
prize give-aways, delicious food and snacks and Kathy Dyson benefitted from the Vanishing Receipt!

Troop 652 visits Scrap Tales!

Troop 652 visits Scrap Tales!

Girls and leaders of Troop 652, Maltby Middle School in Brighton,
recently held a meeting at Scrap Tales and completed a project
taught by staff member, Barbara. The girls and leaders, Susan and Deb,
created an adorable little mini book so they could include photos of some
  of their trips and outings.

Scrap Tales staff would love to arrange a private class for your group, birthday party, shower, etc.

The Wonderful Staff at Scrap Tales

Barbara
Loves her Cricut! Barbara teaches our "Learning your Cricut" classes and her creative style is in a class all it's own. She's an on-line junkie and has made scrapbooking friends around the globe.
Cathy
The kids all love her and what isn't there to love! Cathy is our creative genious behind our monthly "Kid's of all Ages classes." These projects are simple enough for the younger set while still drawing interest from the out-of-school generation as well.
Claudia
My favorite papercrafting line is Basic Grey. I really like the "distressed" look given to a page. I have recently begun dabbling with cardmaking and have enjoyed the results. There are some awesome stamps out on the market and we carry a great variety to work with! FUN! Working at Scraptales has given me a great opportunity to learn many new techniques in crafting from my fellow workers as well as from our great customers. There's always something fun and new to try!
Janet
I enjoy scrapbooking and tole painting alot. Over the past year or so I've been able to combine both. My favorite lines are Basic Grey and K&Co. I also love working with the QuicKutz dies and look forward to the new products that come out monthly. I am a detail-oriented person and I really enjoy making samples for the store. I enjoy working with customers, on what they are working on, it seems people are coming up with new ideas all the time that interest me. One thing about working at the store is being able to see all the new product coming in.
Laura
I got into scrapbooking after my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer because I realized that I wanted to hold on to the little memories that people tend to forget. They are the things that make up a life.
Linda, creative director
I'll let you in on a secret - I'm a tool junkie! If it works and it works well then chances are I own it. My favorites: non-stick craft sheet, ink blending tool, heat gun, piercing tool, Scor-it board, edge distresser and Crop-a-dile. Favorite products, of course, are made by Ranger. I've completed two courses at Ranger University in New Jersey and earned Ranger certification in ink & embossing and Distress Inks. Scrap Tales is my second home but my husband will tell you it's my first. Stop in, if I'm there you know the coffee is on!
Lisa, co-owner
Melissa and I were regular customers of Scrap Tales and just couldn't let our favorite scrapbook store close! That's when we took matters into our own hands, buying and reopening Scrap Tales. Melissa and I balance each other quite well and are really enjoying our time in the store and getting to know all our customers.
Melissa, co-owner
The opportunity to buy Scrap Tales kind of fell out of the sky. I never thought Lisa and I would own a scrapbooking business but we're loving it! Anyone can put a photo in a photo album, but when you scrapbook a photo it actually brings that photo to life, memories and all.
Sarah
Hi, I'm Sarah and I am officially a fixture at Scrap Tales, as I've been there so long. I love working with you the customer, finding papers to work with your project or an added touch to an almost completed page. And of course seeing your work at crops is fun and inspiring. I look foward to the next time I see you.
