Scrapbook Virgins $12
You've toyed with the idea of preserving your favorite photos in a scrapbook. You buy some papers and stickers, pull out your photos, spread it all on the table . . . and feel so overwhelmed and lost that you give up before you even get started!
Pull those photos back out and join us at Scrap Tales in this 2-hour course that will put you at ease and give you the confidence you need to get started on your personal journey of preserving your memories.
In Scrapbook Virgins we'll focus on the basics - tools (paper trimmers, adhesive, and scissors), papers (cardstocks), cropping and layout. You'll leave knowing the fundamental tools of creating your very first scrapbook pages. This class is geared toward the novice.
Students need to bring:
3-5 photos (4X6) of the same theme or event.

If you have them bring: paper trimmer or scissors, dry adhesive; if you do not have them we highly recommend waiting to purchase till after class so you have an opportunity to try-before-you-buy.

Clearly Winter $37
Clear albums can be so much fun! From beginning to end we're teased with a little sneak peek of what's to come. If you've been putting off trying one because you just don't know how to start, then join me for a day of fun, relaxation and creating! We'll create a beautiful Winter-themed acrylic album in blues and whites using Staz-on ink and lots of Art Institute Glitters. We'll dress it up with some dangles, charms and ribbons. I'll provide acrylic book, tips, techniques, stamps and embellishments.
Bring a sack lunch as we may be here awhile!
Once you have registered begin selecting your photos. Students should bring lots of winter-themed photos in a variety of sizes from 1X1 up to 4X6 (see more info below). This class will be held on the main floor.
What to Bring:
Any stamps you would like to use on your pages - random script, flourishes and background patterns work best (I'll have a selection of stamps as well)
Clear drying liquid adhesive (I used Ranger's Glossy Accents and Beacon's Gem Tac - we carry both)
Your favorite permanent dry adhesive (you'll want permanent and very tacky)
Staz-on ink in opaque white

Tools: Crop-a-dile, non-stick craft sheet, self-healing cutting mat (12X12 Size for work surface), an old magazine, scissors & paper trimmer

Photos: Photos work best in the word books when they are printed at a smaller size. I printed mine in 4X6, wallet, mini wallet and index size. It's also a good use of photos that can stand some cropping done to them. Bring extras in varying sizes and it's easier to work into the pages.
