Everything is Lush with My Mind's Eye by Candy
The new Lush collections from My Mind's Eye are in ... here are a few ideas by Candy:
Tip #1: The frames on the cards and the group that makes up the title and journaling block on the top page are actually journaling tags from this collection.
Tip #2: The flocked papers are challenging to adhere. I would recommend using large Glue Dots (Craft or Memory size) placed where there is not a lot of flock or using brads or the Tiny Attacher. The tape-type adhesives, like the ATG, had trouble staying stuck.

Bo Bunny's Timepiece Collection by Candy
When I first saw this new collection by Bo Bunny, I fell in love.
But, when I started working with it, I fell even harder!
I often find paper I like and then find pictures to match. I also take pictures and search for the perfect paper. But this was the first time that the paper actually "spoke" to me and told me what to put on it. (No, I wasn't hearing voices, I was just amazingly inspired)
I have had these depot photos for several years ... in fact, they were taken three vehicles ago when my kids were still young enough to go on road trips. But, aside from knowing I wanted to match the historic photos with the modern ones, I didn't know what to do with them, so I ignored them.
Then, as I was working on this layout using Bo Bunny's Timepiece Collection,
it happened.
I looked at the timepiece I had cut out and decided not to use on the Venice page and then read the Travel through Time saying from another piece of paper and knew it was time to pull out those train photos. (After two days of looking, I gave up and reprinted them).
I do believe this is one of my favorite layouts of all time -- it's clean and simple, but I love it. This is my favorite part ...

New from Jamie
New products from CHA are starting to arrive and the Scrap Tales Design Team has been busy creating samples to inspire you.
Not all of these products are available in the store just yet, but they have all been ordered. A mouse told me 12 boxes of products arrived last week and many, many more are on their way.
Jamie got off to a great start with these projects using the new collections from My Mind's Eye. She used the Cricut April Showers cartridge to cut out the letters and designs.
And, a close up of this adorable embellishment.
Then, Jamie created this little thank you cone ....
And, this sweet card ...
And, finally, this adorable card.
For details, visit Jamie's blog or stop in the store and see them in person.

It's here ...
Little Yellow Bicycle's amazing new collection, Twig, is here.
This line, while adorable via the computer screen, is even better in person. The papers have a unique texture -- almost like fabric.

There are adorable embellishments, including paper doilies, fabric borders, corrugated leaves
and feathers!
There are also phrases, journaling tags, mini album kits, pins, banners, paper borders, frames and stickers to inspire you.
With the shades of blue, green, brown and white, this line can be used to showcase pictures of just about anything: daily life, nature, friends and family, love, children, boys, summer, teens and more.
Click here for some inspiration from Little Yellow Bicycle's Design Team.
Then, hurry into the store because this line, feathers and all, is quite literally flying off the shelves.

I wanna be a rock star
Papers with frames look great, but are sometimes difficult to work with. Do you make your photos fit inside? Do you cover up part of the frame?
Well, for this page using Creative Imaginations paper, Candy cut out the middle of the frame with a craft knife and placed an 8x10 photo of her son behind it.
It creates a unique way to frame a photo. With a different style paper, you could do a wedding photo, family photo or a school picture.
